- As far as the mouse goes, I have owned the newer ('93) Amiga mouse
- included with the 1200, a 3-button Micro R&D, and the two button Eklipse.
-
- The Amiga mouse was crap. This is because the button used the shell as
- the spring and plastic doesn't like being repeatedly compressed.
- The Micro R&D microswitch for the left button went bad in three months
- (replaced it with the middle switch). I found it to be very cheaply made
- even for a 300dpi mouse.
- The Eklipse mouse went bad within two months. The left-right circuit
- went bad, I think beacuse of a broken resistor (can't confirm this since
- there is another smaller resistor on the bottom of the circuit board).
- Luckily, the microswitches for that one were the same as the Micro R&D, so
- I salveged those, delaying buying ANOTHER mouse in the near future.
- Otherwise this mouse felt GREAT and it comes with a thin mouse pad.
-
- For the monitor, I have only owned a 1960, and these are too dark.
